Unlocking with Face ID

Make sure Face ID is enabled for PrivateVault in iOS Settings. Your PIN remains available as a secure fallback.

Backups and recovery

Create encrypted backups regularly and keep them in a safe location. PrivateVault cannot recover a forgotten PIN or a backup you no longer have.

Importing photos and videos

Allow photo access when prompted, then select the items you want to add. Confirm your originals are handled the way you expect after import.

Premium and billing

Apple manages all App Store subscriptions. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel a plan.
